The Border

The Border is a Hell Race ultra across the Thar Desert finishing at the Longewala post on the Indo-Pak border — a tribute to the 1971 Battle of Longewala and the soldiers who defended it. 100 mile, 100K, and 50K distances run point-to-point across barren dunes and flat desert tracks, with strong headwinds, 30°C daytime heat, near-freezing nights, and a final 40K through rolling sand that decides the race.
